Privacy Policy

Your data belongs to you. Passagia helps you organize, understand, and act on it. It doesn't take ownership of it. This policy explains what we collect and how we protect it.

1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the profile information you provide: visa type, country of origin, employer or institution, and key dates relevant to your status. If you upload immigration documents, they are parsed in memory to extract relevant fields and are never stored on our servers.

2. How we use your data

We use your information to personalise your dashboard, surface relevant deadlines and next steps, send status alerts, and improve the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. case tracking

If you connect a receipt number, we use it solely to check your case status on your behalf. This number is stored securely, protected like all of your data by encryption in transit and at rest, and is never shared.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the platform is used in aggregate. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings in the app: deletion takes effect immediately and is permanent. If you prefer, or if you can no longer sign in, you can also request deletion by emailing hello@passagia.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

6. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to user data within our team is restricted on a need-to-know basis. We take security seriously. If you discover a vulnerability, please disclose it responsibly at hello@passagia.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data yourself from Settings in the app. To exercise your other rights, contact us at hello@passagia.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will notify you of material changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
